Client:

The Omaha Conservatory of Music – A nonprofit 501(c)3 school that builds a diverse musical community to enrich lives through education and performance.

The Conservatory’s artist-faculty challenges and inspires a student body of nearly 800 students through individual lessons and classes, and touches the lives of thousands of others through programs such as String Sprouts, summer camp programs, events, and performances, and off-campus classes.

Challenge:

The Omaha Conservatory of Music put on a fundraiser celebrating 20 years of music excellence—Night of Nostalgia. They asked for a timeless, versatile video that they could share at the event and for years after.

The Conservatory wanted to tell their story, show their impact on the community, and raise funds for their mission. Their objectives included increasing brand awareness and promoting their warm, fun, and diverse community.

Solution

A short-form documentary-style video was the ideal way to share the Conservatory’s story. We planned to get candid footage of how the Conservatory has impacted the Omaha community by interviewing diverse faculty members, students, and parents.

Outcome

We captured interview footage of community members from all walks of life. Each person shared what the Conservatory meant to them and how it had helped them grow. The result was a sincere testament to many of the things that make the Conservatory unique, like accessibility, diversity, creativity, and more. Through the video, viewers got an inside perspective on the Conservatory’s importance in the community.

Jeff and his team at Dundee Digital are extremely easy to work with. Our organization has a lot of moving parts, with classes and lessons happening late into the evenings – and Jeff and his team had no problems working with our schedule to capture what was needed for this project on a tight deadline. Our final video is impactful, engaging and accurate to our community and our mission. Not only that, our organization was beautifully captured through Dundee Digital’s impeccable cinematography.
